Bandipora, Apr 02(KNO): Police on Thursday registered a case against a man, associated with Tableeg-i-Jamaat, for concealing his travel history in north Kashmir's Bandipora district. According to wire service-Kashmir New Observer (KNO), a man was booked a man from Aloosa village of Bandipora for hiding his travel history. An official said that a member of Tableeg-i-Jamaat, who had attended an event at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi last month, had returned to valley on March 21st, however, he had not reported about his travel history as yet. He said that as many people who had attended the event at Nizamuddin, have now been tested positive for COVID-19, it was imperative on part of the authorities to trace these people to stop further spread of this deadly virus. The official said that he has now been shifted to a quarantine centre and a case under relevant sections of law has also been registered against him. Meanwhile, the authorities across the country are now trying to trace persons who had attended the event of Tableeg-i-Jamaat in Delhi last month so that the community spread of COVID-19 could be contained and stopped further—(KNO)
